CARICAM EXECUTIVE SEARCH PARTNERS

Legal

Data Processing Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Draft pending legal review. This document has not yet been validated by CARICAM's legal counsel.

This policy describes, in operational terms, how CARICAM processes personal data in the course of its work: identifying, assessing and presenting executive talent.

It complements the Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.

Data subjects and categories

Clients and business contacts: identification and professional contact details, and information about the positions they entrust to us.

Candidates: identification, career history, education, references, interview and assessment results, and professional expectations.

Site visitors: the minimal technical data described in the Cookie Policy.

Purposes

Delivering the services we are retained for: profile definition, market mapping, direct search, assessment, reference checking and closing support.

Maintaining the business relationship with clients and communication with candidates.

Meeting the firm's legal and contractual obligations.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is an essential condition of executive search: it protects the client opening a position and the candidate holding a conversation with us.

Access to the information in any engagement is limited to the team conducting it.

Regional transfers

We operate in Costa Rica, Panama, the Dominican Republic and Colombia. Where an engagement requires it, data may be processed in more than one of these countries, always under this policy and equivalent contractual safeguards.

Our technology providers may host information in data centres outside the region; we select them against recognized security standards.

Processors

Providers processing data on CARICAM's behalf (web hosting, forms, assessment tools) act under documented instructions and may not use the information for their own purposes.

Retention and deletion

We keep data for as long as the purpose that justified its collection requires, for applicable statutory periods, or until consent is withdrawn — whichever comes first.

Once those periods lapse, information is securely deleted or anonymized.

Data-subject rights

Access, correction, updating, deletion and withdrawal of consent, under Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 and the rules applicable in the other countries where we operate.

Requests are handled through the site's contact page.
